Coverage Alert - Hurricanes

Major tropical storms and hurricanes have the potential to severely disrupt travel.  Travel insurance can help protect your travel investment in the event your trip is impacted by a significant storm.  In order for travelers to be eligible for coverage and benefits under their travel insurance policy, they must purchase their insurance before the tropical storm or hurricane that impacts their trip becomes a known event.  A tropical storm or hurricane is considered a known event when the storm is “named” by the National Hurricane Center. Travelers should read their policy/certificate of insurance to learn about their specific coverage and benefits.
