About Celebrity Cruises

Travel Weekly's Readers' Choice Awards has named Celebrity the best premium cruise line for seven consecutive years. Each of the ten ships in the Celebrity fleet offers a slightly different experience, but all provide a rich array of activities, onboard environments and prize-winning cuisine.

Focused on giving all passengers a luxury experience, all Celebrity Cruises has an average staffing level of about one crew member for every two passengers. Passenger tastes and preferences are unobtrusively noticed by staff, and small luxuries abound as the crew makes a distinct effort to exceed expectations. All passengers can arrange special shore tours and activities by consulting with the Destination Concierge, who ensures that you have the experience that you've been dreaming of.

More premium services are available for passengers who book suites. Perks that come with suites include butler service, packing and unpacking assistance, room service for any meal and such small details as shoe shines, board game delivery and complimentary hors d'oeuvres and espresso. With a Captain's Club membership, you receive elite benefits such as discounted laundry and Internet use, as well as entry into a special Captain's Club Celebration event.

Celebrity Cruise Ships

Celebrity's fleet consists of three classes. The Solstice Class includes the largest five ships in the fleet, each carrying between 2,850 and 3,046 people. Four ships are in the Millennium Class, carrying fewer than 2,170 people for a smaller onboard community. Celebrity's Xpedition class contains just one ship, a luxuriously appointed smaller vessel specifically designed to bring 98 passengers to the Galapagos Islands. The Xpedition sails out of Quito, Ecuador, and offers nightly lectures by naturalists and a gourmet restaurant stocked with fresh fish caught by local fishermen.

Celebrity's nine larger ships partner with Canyon Ranch SpaClub, a destination resort and spa service that has won Travel & Leisure's Best Spa Award 13 times in a row. While you're underway, you can let go of stress and rejuvenate with a full array of treatments and spa services, including specialized facial enhancements, ageless oxygen boost, acupuncture, massage, body wraps and much more. Beauty salon and manicure services are included as well -- the refreshment and relaxation of the cruise will be clearly reflected in your appearance.

Where They Cruise

Celebrity's U.S. departure points include New York, Cape Liberty, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Honolulu, San Diego, San Francisco and Seattle. With destinations scattered across the globe, Celebrity cruises head for all seven continents. Whether you're interested in Dubai or Uruguay, Turkey or Thailand, a Celebrity cruise is ready to take you there in style.

Newest Programs

Celebrity has partnered with Bravo to bring the immensely popular television show "Top Chef" to special Top Chef at Sea signature sailings. Six famous chefs provide entertainment and education as they form teams to battle each other in a Quickfire Challenge, judged by the shipboard audience. In addition, the chefs host private cooking classes, a private dinner and shore excursions at specially selected ports.

Another program, the Hot Glass Show, a live glass-blowing performance created by The Corning Museum of Glass, demonstrates the dramatic artistry of this craft in an outdoor shipboard studio.

Fun Facts

In July 2015, Celebrity named Kate McCue captain of the Summit, a Millennium-class ship that sails between the eastern U.S. seaboard and Bermuda. Captain McCue is the first American woman to captain a mega-ton cruise ship, and her appointment follows the 2014 naming of Lisa Lutoff-Perlo as President and CEO of Celebrity Cruises.

If you find you don't have all the devices you need, you can satisfy your tech cravings by visiting the Innovations Store on board the Celebrity Infinity. This store is the first licensed Apple reseller on the high seas, and it provides a good selection of iPads, Macbooks, mobile devices and digital toys and accessories.

Celebrity offers a unique luggage valet service in cooperation with participating airlines. This service lets you place your packed luggage outside your stateroom door on your final cruise night and not handle it again until it magically appears in the baggage claim carousel at your destination airport.

Celebrity Cruise Deals

The Specials tab on the Celebrity Cruises website lists the latest deals and discounts, keyed to specific seasons and destinations. One of the best sources of discounts can be yours by applying for the Celebrity Visa Card. All purchases made with this card earn MyCruise Points that you can use for discounts on beverage packages, shore excursions and the cost of future cruises.

In addition, the Go Big Better Best program lets you choose which specific perks are most important to you, so you only pay for the extras that you really want. Also, Celebrity ensures your peace of mind by offering a best price guarantee. If you see a lower price for a trip you already booked, you can have your price dropped to match it.

Another method of ensuring your peace of mind on your next cruise is with cruise travel insurance. Allianz Travel Insurance protects your vacation investment against life's unpredictable moments.
