Mike believes in leading by example and putting the customer first, which is why he’s always trying to develop new and innovative ways to improve the travel experience—and encouraging all of his coworkers to do the same. As a veteran in both the travel and insurance industries, and someone who holds a MBA and a BS from the University of Minnesota, Mike steers the company’s direction by using its mission statement as a guide: “We help people. Anytime. Anywhere.”

Under Mike’s watch, Allianz Global Assistance has become one of the few companies in the world that can really help people while they’re away from home. Mike oversees the Allianz Global Assistance companies in North and South America and serves as a member of the executive management board of the Allianz Global Assistance Group in Paris.

Mike can relate to our customers because he is a frequent traveler who has been in the travel industry for over 15 years. These experiences play a major role in his commitment to delivering the best products and services possible. He understands what it’s like to be on a trip and need help, and he is dedicated to providing everyone at AGA with the tools and resources they need to assist all of our customers. In his free time, Mike enjoys traveling, playing golf, running, and spending time with his wife and 3 kids.
